Cannondale Eildon Challenge is on! and here are some notes from someone who did the track last week

Entries before 27 October will receive one free entry in the draw for the latest model Cannondale Rush 7

Entries after 27 October attarct a late fee of $10 and are still welcome.

 

Race registration 2.00 pm - 5.50 pm  21 November. unless organised prior

A one day multisport race held on Sunday 22 November in Lake Eildon National Park.  The race will include mountain bike, run, kayak and run legs. The race is being conducted in beautiful Jerusalem Creek area 15 kms from Eildon.

Are you up to the challenge?

If you are warming up for the big races, getting fit for summer, this is the race for you.

For the advanced racer this event will be a body burning course where you can test your speed and technique.  If you are a beginner it will offer you a great challenge.  Intermediate?  It will work you over.  For those looking at the Anaconda Adventure Race in Lorne, an ideal warm up.

Lake Eildon National Park offers a location that has variety and challenges that will set this adventure race apart from the rest.  Each year a new course will be designed to keep you on your toes and extend your prowess, hone your mountain bike skills, keep your paddling honest, the run will test your endurance.

A percentage of all money raised from this event will be donated to the local CFA & SES units as well as used to start a fund to support the Victorian State Teams in canoeing in their quests at National and International events.  Canoeing Victoria is a not for profit organisation and all proceeds raised from this event will be returned to the local community and to support canoeing in Victoria.

Based at Jerusalem Creek in Lake Eildon National Park.  Race check-in is on Saturday 21st November 2.00 pm to 5.50 pm unless organised prior, race starts 8 am Sunday 22 November.  Camping is available at Jerusalem Creek, bookings with your entry ($12).  Information on other accommodation options are available through the link below.  Jerusalem Creek Marina has re-opened recently under new management and will be offering meals and refreshments throughout the race weekend (they are licensed).

Entry fees will be $90 Canoe Victoria members, $100 non members, Teams $270 Canoe Victoria $300 non members.
